Roy Graham

Roy G. Graham, age 88, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, of Birmingham, passed away July 24, 2011. He grew up in Irondale, was a graduate of the University of Alabama, enjoyed golf, Alabama Sports, hunting, and traveling with his golf friends and his brother Bill. He was a gunnery instructor with the 234th Army Air Force during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Christy Graham, parents William T. Sr., and Mae Todd Graham, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was an active member of Center Point 1st United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School for 40 years. Services will be on Thursday, July 28 at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm Wednesday. He is survived by his son Dale Graham, daughter Christy (Leon) Henderson, grandchildren PFC Brandon Heath (Jessica) Graham, Haley Graham (Jerry) Sanford, great grandchildren Alyssa Lynelle Graham, Marley Layne Graham, Adele Grace Sanford, two close cousins, Betty Morris and Eleanor Castellaw, and a host of family and friends.
