Roy Barlow

Roy Andrew Barlow, "Andy" of Pinson Alabama passed away on January 17, 2018 at St. Vincent's East after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Louise Chatham Barlow Vaske and Lawrence E. Vaske "Larry". He is survived by his former wife, Sonya Barlow, his three children Angela Barlow Flemmer (Scott, Johnson City, Tennessee), Brandy Barlow Lusk (Wayne), Sheena Barlow Wiggins and his four grandchildren Layla and Wayne Lusk Jr., Ethan Wiggins and Elijah Alford.

Andy graduated from Gardendale Vocational School, and spent his career repairing vacuum pumps and working on all types of machinery. He was handy with all things mechanical and spent the end of his career in new construction. He was a hardworking man who loved to fish, dove hunt and to watch Alabama football. He had recently semi-retired with dreams of moving to the beach in an RV, sadly these were not realized. The family would like to thank all of the providers and nurses who fought so hard to save his life during this illness.
