Ronald Thaxton Rasco, 80, of Tarrant City, passed away on February 9, 2021. Ronald was born on October 20, 1940 to Newman Randolph and Ovelle Bradberry Rasco in Birmingham. Ronald graduated from Howard College (Sigma Nu fraternity), then he landed his first job as a Pharmacist for Kessler's Pharmacy in Tarrant and worked for over 50 years for other wonderful Pharmacies. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, hunting and horseback riding; he loved his family most of all. He married Hazel Lynell King on June 1, 1962, going on to have two children. Ronald was predeceased by his father, Newman R Rasco. He is survived by his mother, Ovelle, his beloved wife, Lynell, a son, Russell (Paula) and daughter, Rhonda Tucker (Bryan), four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Also, two sisters,Theresa Dobbins (Rodney) and Stephany Nix (David) and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dustin Lambert, Dustin Siegler, Andrew Meeks, Mike Reed, Duane Nix and Kevin Dollar; Honorary pallbearers, Jayden Siegler, Dallen Siegler, Brayden Keedy, Sawyer Meeks, Sebastian Lambert and Stetson Siegler. The family will receive friends Monday, February 15th beginning at 10:30 am followed with a Chapel Funeral service in the chapel at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 12:00 noon.
