Robin Braswell

Robin Faye Braswell, 66, of Homewood, Al. died Saturday, December 20th, 2008, at her Son and Daughter-in-law's home in Orange Park, Fl. following a long illness.

Robin was born Oct. 23, 1942, in Beaumont, Texas. She is the daughter of Jefferson Bruce Braswell of Birmingham, Al. and the late Billie Faye Braswell.

She was the office manager for Birmingham Eye Center located at Trinity Medical Center. She was a devoted employee of Dr. Logan Smith.

In addition to her Mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary McCombs Casey and her dear friend, Carol Guimarin.

In addition to her father, She is survived by a son, George (Butch) L. Bailes IV and Daughter-in-law, Shanna L. Bailes of Orange Park, Fl.; a daughter, Robin Braswell Bailes of Atlanta, GA. Four grandchildren, Winston A. (Alex) Bailes and Kelsey D. Bailes of Orange Park, Fl., Savannah L. Casey and Jacob B. Casey of Randelman, NC., Two Step-Grandchildren, Kyle Cornette and Kaleb Petrella of Catlettsburg, Ky. ; Three sisters, Connie L. Farnbach and her husband John of Boulder, Co., Sarah V. Morrow of Birmingham, Al. and Becky L. Colvett and her husband Ben of Albuquerque, NM; Very Special friends, Paul R. Anderson of Hueytown, Al. and Linda Browning of Falling Waters, WVA.; She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel located in Trussville, AL with Father Hunter Isaacs officiating.

Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 10:30 AM on December 27, 2008 at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel, Trussville, AL, with services to begin at 12:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be John Farnbach, Daniel Farnbach, Ben Colvett, Michael Morrow, Curtis Morrow, and Abner Leps.
