Robert Floyd Weaver, age 75, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. He was a graduate of Susan Moore High School. Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1958 and was honorably discharged in May of 1962. He was an undergraduate of UAB and received his MBA at Samford University. He retired from Alabama Power after 34 years of service, as a Real Estate Manager. Robert enjoyed restoring and collecting old cars, traveling, and gardening. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Oden Weaver; his only son, Derek Weaver (Misti); his grandchildren, Zackary, Landon, and Harrison Weaver; his brother, James R. Weaver (Lana) his sisters and brother-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 11th at 12PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow at Centre Methodist Church in Oneonta, AL on County Road 36. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
