Robert Tucker

Robert M. "Bob" Tucker, age 82 of Trussville, AL passed away on December 30, 2008. He was the oldest member of First United Methodist Church of Trussville, AL. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was a volunteer Fireman for Trussville for over 50 years. He was an active member of Trussville's Lions Club, the Zamora Shrine, and the Trussville Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Jeanette Tucker. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Tucker Deavours of Trussville, AL; son, Gary M. Tucker (Linda) of Pell City, AL; sister, Dr. Peggy Ziegler of Atlanta, GA; brother, Lester P. Tucker of Orange Beach, AL; grandchildren, Jerisha Dunaway (Dave) of Birmingham, AL, Jill West (Scott) of Pinson, AL, Darius Deavours of Atlanta, GA, and Shelby A. Tucker (Jennifer) of Pell City, AL; great grandchildren, Cyann and Kya-Lei Dunaway of Birmingham, AL, David and Bradley West of Pinson, AL. Services will be Friday, January 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 until service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
