Robert Thomason

Robert M. Thomason "Bobby", age 93 of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 14, 2015. He was a member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church for 35 years. He owned Eastlake Auto Parts from 1946-1986. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Bombardier and also in Korea for 2 years. He was involved in several business organizations. He is preceded in death by his wife's, Margaret "Jean" Thomason and June Thomason and his brother, Joe S. Thomason, Jr. He is survived by his sons, Robert P. Thomason and William A. "Billy" Thomason; sisters, Minelle McNair, Dorothy Coleman and Elizabeth Clayton/Traylor; grandchildren, Chris, Kim, Perry and Patricia; 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 5 to 6 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Sunday at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
