age 79, of Springville passed away on May 26, 2014. He retired at the age of 70 from the Birmingham Board of Education as school security. He was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Springville for 44 years, where he sang in the church choir. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Reese, Sr. and Ruth H. Reese; sister, Frances Grady. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carmen H. Reese; sister, Lois Jean Clark; 8 nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Randall Jennings. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 5:30pm-7:00pm at Gospel Assembly Church in Springville with service starting at 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Bro. Clyde R. Sharber will be officiating.
