Robert Phillips

Mr. Robert Neal Phillips, 51, of Clay, AL, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. He was an active member and deacon at Crosspoint Baptist Church. Neal is preceded in death by his father, Richard H. Phillips, Sr. and his brother Richard H. Phillips, Jr. He was the owner of Chrisenberry Paint & Body Shop for 11 years, where he was blessed to host a men's weekly Bible Study. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sarah Phillips; sons, Eric Phillips (Krystle) and Joshua Phillips (Samantha); daughter, Amanda Phillips; mother, Carolyn Buckner; step-mother, Doris Weaver (Wayne); grandmother, Dorothy Sherman; sister, Tammy Powell (Steve); brother, Bobby Dunson (Ashley); and sister-in-law, Debbie Phillips; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. A visitation will be held at Crosspoint Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 9:30am until 10:45am. Funeral service will be held at 11am at Crosspoint Baptist Church in Argo, AL with Pastor Ryan Whitley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Crosspoint Missions. Interment will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale. Jefferson Memorial Trussville is directing.
