Robert L Pesnell Sr.

Robert Luther Pesnell passed away on September 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Luther "Bobby" Pesnell, Jr.; his parents, Albert and Lee Ella Pesnell; and his brother, John Henry Pesnell. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kay Pesnell; his daughters, Teresa Green (Jay) and Valorie Armstrong (Mike); his sister, Melba Khopf; his grandchildren, Allen Pesnell, David and Justin (Natalie) Green, Zach Smalley, Elizabeth Jones (Joe), Mechelle Ibanez (Jose); his great-grandchildren, Carmyn and Gavyn Pesnell, Alayna and Evalynn Smalley, Ellimay Smalley and Elliot Blanchette, Kreslee and Keegan Jones. He was a loving husband, father, and Pawpaw. He loved Auburn Football, hanging out at the racetrack, and spending time with family and friends. He retired from Watkins Trucking Co. with over 25 years of service, where he was not only an employee, but family til the end. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 10am at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be drivers of Watkins Trucking Company.
