Robert Lightfoot

Robert Neil Lightfoot, passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 40. Born on June 25, 1983, in Birmingham, Alabama, Robert was known for his tender heart and compassionate nature. He touched the lives of many with his kind spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Beyond his professional achievements, he was an alumnus of Hoover High School, where he graduated in 2001. After graduation Robert pursued a successful career as a Stock Analyst in the stock industry. Outside of work and studies, Robert enjoyed indulging in various hobbies. Among them were Ram pick-up trucks and building up an extensive hot wheel collection. His enthusiasm for these diverse forms of automotive art was unparalleled. Additionally, Robert had a soft spot for feline companions. Music brought much happiness to Robert’s life he also loved to catch a great game of Alabama football every chance he got. Robert also dabbled in the stock market outside of his professional pursuits. Exploring different investment opportunities allowed him to challenge himself intellectually while finding creative ways to expand his financial horizons.

Robert is survived by his mother; Dianne Lightfoot; father, Fredrick Lightfoot; step-mother, Barbara Lightfoot; stepbrother, Yancey Harris; step- sisters, Misty  and Julie Harris; nephews, Isisah Hahola, Nickolas Harris; Nieces, Cayla and Caylyn Harris, Brooklyn Brown, Ashlyn
Renda, and Kaylee Kotch.

A visitation will be held to honor Robert's life on November 11, 2023, at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Birmingham, Alabama. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until noon. A graveside service will follow at the same location from 12:00. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to come together and pay their respects to a remarkable individual who touched countless lives.
