Robert Lenning

Robert Joe Lenning, 84, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on January 8, 2012a�"meeting his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face. Born in Gadsden Alabama to Joseph Gordon and Lillian Trafenstedt Lenning, Robert made his career in the food industry. Before retiring, he held an upper level management position at Associated Grocers, in charge of the produce and meat distribution arms of the southeastern warehouse. Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce Fulmer Lenning, his sons Michael and Joe Lenning, daughter-in-law Dana Lenning, daughter Sheila Lenning Stephens, and granddaughter Stephanie Lenninga�"as well as beloved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at which time Graveside Services will begin in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
