Robert Ferguson

Robert Ferguson, age 83 of Ashville passed away on October 11, 2008. Robert was a born again Christian, a wonderful and loving Father, Paw Paw, Great Granddaddy and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church for the past 45 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Roberta Ferguson, son Robert Stanley Ferguson and great granddaughter, Shey Elliott. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Blodgett (Glenn) of Ashville, Paula Ellis (John) of Pinson, and Karen Bailey of Odenville; two sisters, Bett Garner of Center Point and Mable Edmondson of Boaz; 11 Grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 13 at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Center Point with Bro. Glenn Elrod and Bro. Richard Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
