Robert Crumpton

Robert Allen Crumpton, Sr., age 82 of Centerpoint, AL passed away on March 31, 2013. He was a member of North Clay Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Peggy Crumpton. He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Moore (Doug); son, Allen Crumpton; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren with another due in September; sister, Patty Perkins. He was an avid Alabama football fan and served in the Navy during the Korean War. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Trussville Chapel. The services will be held at noon in the chapel with Pastor Bob Curlee officiating. Burial will be held in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give special thanks to Chandler Health and Rehab and Amedisys Hospice for caring for him in his last days.
