Robert Clark

Robert Wesley Clark, age 84 of Clay, AL went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2009. He joined Roebuck Park Baptist Church (which is now North Park Baptist Church) in March 1961 and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He retired from Bush Manufacturing Co. He served in the US Army in 1945. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret Clark. He is survived by his daughters, Judy Patterson Mitchell of Clay, AL and Bobbie Jean Moye of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren, Turena Bice of Tarrant, AL, Thomas Robert Simpson of Gulf Breeze, FL, Samantha VanPelt of Gulf Breeze, FL, Tammy Walker of Clay, AL, Kenneth Wesley Schafres of Birmingham, AL, Michael Wayne Hinson of Navarre, FL, Tony Patterson of Vestavia, AL; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. "Robert was a very loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all." The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 1 to 3PM. Graveside services will follow at 3PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
