Robert "Rob" Y. Burkett, Jr.

Age 60 of Trussville, AL passed away on April 5, 2014. He retired after 38 years of service from Alagasco. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Y. Burkett, Sr. and Carolyn Ann Burkett. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Poore Burkett; daughter, Tara Burkett Watson (Robby); son, Shaun Jernigan (Haley); brothers, Richard "Rick" (Janice) and Randal "Randy" Burkett; grandchildren, Lyra and Graham Watson and Hunter Jernigan; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 5-7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:00am at Jefferson Memorial Chapel.
