Robert Britt

Robert "Bobby" Nelson Britt, born April 5, 1936, March 28, 2013. A native of Birmingham and a resident of Trussville, AL. He was preceded in death by his father and mother William F. Sr. and Geraldine Britt and sister Lynn Sims. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Maxwell Britt, sons Danny (Tammy), Steve (Tana), Barry (Lisa), 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and brother William Frank Britt Jr. (Fran). Bobby was a member of First Baptist of Trussville; Bobby faithfully served the Lord Jesus Christ for over 61 years, ministering as an Evangelist for 35 years, pastored at 3 churches and serving as interim in multiple others. Bobby and Carolyn founded the Alabama Evangelism Conference and recently authored 2 books. Bobby was a graduate of Howard College (Samford) and Southwestern Seminary of Fort Worth, TX. Services will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 10am at First Baptist Church Trussville with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Friday at the funeral home. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
