Robert Austin

Robert Charles Austin, Sr. "Bob", age 88 went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2016. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Center Point. He was a veteran of World War II while serving in the U.S. Navy. He is preceded in death by his of wife of 54 years, Frances S. Austin and his brother Richard Warren Austin. He is survived by his children, Robert Charles Austin, Jr. "Bobby" (Vicki), Thomas Warren Austin "Tommy" (Regina), Cathy Austin Miller (Roger) and Randy Austin (Bobbie); 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Thursday at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial and the burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. David Haynes will be officiating over the services.
