Robert Andrews

Robert Andrews Sr., age 77 of Trussville passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008. He was born December 7, 1931 to Henry Herbert and Imogene Calloway Andrews. Robert retired from Alabama By-Products, a division of Drummond Company; he was an officer with Birmingham Traffic and Transportation Club and a member of the Woodworkers Guild. He was an active member of Huffman United Methodist Church, including Men's Fellowship and the Loyalty Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Andrews and Lamar (Pete) Andrews. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Julia; their children, Ginny Ezekiel (Mark) of Birmingham and Robert Andrews Jr. (Kate) of Bend, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Cate and Mrs. Martha Spencer; three grandchildren, Ellen Ezekiel, Sophie and Will Andrews and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, beginning at 12PM with Chapel services to begin at 2PM with Dr. Chris Denson officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
