Richard "Dick" Schoellhammer

Richard “Dick” Schoellhammer, age 79, of Trussville, AL passed away on September 30, 2021. Dick was a native of Bath, PA. He graduated from Muhlenberg College. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #506 in Irondale.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Hilda Schoellhammer; his daughter, Regina Mahan and his brother, Fritz Schoellhammer.

He is survived by his sons, Ernst Schoellhammer (Susan), Bruce Helton (Vicki) and daughter, Brandi Duke (Phillip); grandchildren, Hunter Duke, Tyler Duke, Meghan Schoellhammer (Michael Willing), Ricky King and Jennifer Jones (Blake); great grandchildren, Abigail, Hudson, Ryker, Asher. He is also survived by his former wife friend, Denise Schoellhammer and extended family and friends.

A visitation from family and friends will be held at Jefferson Memorial on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.
