Richard (Rick) E. Weinberg passed away from this world and went to his eternal home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna E. Weinberg, and father, Jerome B. Weinberg. He is survived by his brother, Jerome Weinberg, Jr. and his sisters, Cindy Russo (Sammy) and Nancy Gilmore (Marvin); his chosen son, Forrest Taylor; his nephews, Adam Gilmore, Austin Gilmore and Jonathan Russo; his aunt and uncle, Martha Weinberg Crump and Reverend Ray Crump; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rick was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Rick was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Highland Lake, Alabama where he was a Deacon. Rick was a snow skier, scuba diver, drag racer, skydiver (made many jumps), car enthusiast - in his lifetime he had 55 cars including demos (he spent years in auto sales and finance). Rick was also a motorcycle enthusiast (owned several), and is said to have been the top Harley motorcycle finance and insurance producer for the USA for some years while he worked in Trussville, Alabama for Riders Harley-Davidson. He enjoyed their motorcycle rides, including rides for children's charities.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11am-12pm at Jefferson Memorial Trussville, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Memorial donations may be made to Children’s of Alabama.
