Richard Seiler

Richard Edward Seiler Jr., 66, died on Feb. 8, 2016.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will continue until the time of the service.

A resident of Moody, Mr. Seiler was born in Corinth, Mississippi, on Feb. 23, 1949, to Richard Edward Seiler Sr. and Bertie Mae Seiler. He worked for Alabama Power in Birmingham and also for Honeywell in Anniston, Alabama. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Odenville, Alabama.

Mr. Seiler was an avid motorcyclist and a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association and Bikers4Christ in Pell City, Alabama.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Glenda Seiler; daughters, Christy Seiler and Emma Seiler; grandson, Ryan Seiler; sister, Gale Taylor; nephew, David Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Nina Seiler; and sister-in-law, Fay Cornelius.
