Richard Russell

Richard Gary Russell, 52, of Leeds, born December 27, 1956 passed away September 15, 2009. He graduated from Mt. Brook High School in 1975 and attended Auburn University. He worked for Parisian and Belk in Birmingham and Atlanta for many years. Gary was predeceased by his father, Robert C. Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Graham Russell; sister, Jan Needham (Mark) of Trussville; brother, Mark Russell (Jean) of Birmingham; nieces, Julie Needham and Stephanie Russell; nephews, Graham Easterwood and Sean Russell. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18 from 1:00 i�½" 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services beginning at 2PM with Rev. Bobby Erwin and Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Gary's family would like to thank the staff at UAB Hospital for taking care of our beloved son, brother and uncle.
