Richard Wallace Powell

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard “Ricky” Wallace Powell, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, on July 25, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on December 28,1957, Ricky’s life was marked by unwavering love, kindness, and a profound impact on everyone who knew him. 

Ricky severed in the Army from 1977 to 1983. He loved Alabama football and enjoyed spending time at the lake.

Ricky was pre-deceased by his father Milton Powell and his mother Barbara Powell. 

Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Dawn; his children Amy (Jared), Jennifer (Harper) and Rachel (Seth); his grandchildren, Bailey, Camry, Jacob, Katelyn, Brodie, and Briella; his great-grandchildren Camdin, Ray, and Amber-Lynn; his siblings Ronnie, Kathy, Peggy and Terrie; many loved nieces and nephews. Rest in peace you will live in our hearts forever.
