Richard Thomas Justice, 78, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at UAB Medical Center. Richard was born on January 1, 1940 in Birmingham, AL . He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Fortenberry , father ,William Thomas Justice, step-father, Rollins Earnest ( R.E.) Fortenberry , brother, Rollin Fortenberry , and sister, Willie Winkles. He is survived by his wife of 53 Years Veda Justice , son, Richard (Mandy) Justice , daughter, Ginger Justice, sister, Betty Jones, grandchildren , Haley (Shane) Pennington, Josh (Catherine) Justice, Zack (Rhianna) Redding, Richard Justice, Destiny Redding, Shelby Justice, Peyton Justice, and Presley Justice. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren (Bella Pennington, Rylan Redding, Braylon Sheffield , Uriah Pennington, Hunter Spivey, and Porter Redding.) Richard also leaves behind many beloved extended family, and lifelong friends. The Funeral will take place at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home 1591 Gadsden Hwy. Birmingham, AL 35235 on Friday, March,16, 2018 at 12pm. The Justice Family will also be accepting all friends and family for a visitation prior to the funeral service starting at 11am.
