Richard W. Armstrong, age 74, of Trussville, Alabama passed away on February 1, 2021. He grew up in Jefferson Park and graduated from Leeds High School Class of 1964. He was a Prestigious Business owner of Armstrong Pump Service Co. for 32 years; where he cultivated many life-long friends through his business; whether a customer, vendor or employee. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an extreme Alabama football fan. Unlike most – his hobby was trading vehicles. His priority and passion were his family, friends and work. He knew our Lord and Savior. He is gone from sight – Never from our Hearts! He was preceded in death by his parents, Crandle and Ruth Armstrong, and brother, Jerry Lynn Armstrong. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia Ann Armstrong; his children, Dennis Armstrong (Nancy) and Stephanie Dolinger (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Bruce, Meghan and JENNIFER, and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with visitation held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining cemetery. Due to the pandemic the family and staff would like to offer a friendly reminder that mask will be required to attend the service and all guests are encouraged to practice social distancing.
