Retha Kathleen Lee Grace

Retha Kathleen Lee Grace, age 86, of Pinson, AL passed away on January 4, 2015. She was a member of Palmerdale Baptist Church of Palmerdale, AL for 50 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and volunteering at church and throughout the community. She also loved traveling with family and friends. Retha was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Harry Grace; brother, Jack Lee; sisters: Gurthel Iren Cox, Ethel Hockhalter, June Beasley and Ruby Shockley. She is survived by her sister, Doris Jean Moncrief; sons, Harry Wayne Grace (Sandra) and Larry Gene Grace (Jane); daughter, Renae Grace Friedman (Jayson); grandchildren: Timothy Grace, Preston "Buddy" Grace, Jayson Friedman, Logan Friedman, Madhi Grace Porter, and Grace Lee Friedman; great grandchildren: Harry Fulmer Grace, Addison Friedman, Mason Friedman and Lucas Friedman. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial on Wednesday, January 7th. The service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on January 7th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Pastor W. Richard Statham, Jr. is officiating. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
