Renate Easley

Renate Kelly Easley, age 67 of Birmingham, AL, Born in Berlin, Germany, passed away June 26, 2009. She was an animal lover who donated to many various animal charities; she loved gardening, traveling, crochet and knitting, and dancing. She was a devout Democrat, and a proud mother and grandmother who always put her family first. Her friendliness and her kind nature will be truly missed by all who loved and knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyell Easley and son Gordon Bobert. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, from 6PM-8PM. She is survived by her Children: Jennifer Kelly of Tuscaloosa, AL, David (Candice) Kelly of Pinson, AL, Christiane (Gary) Schaecher of Norfolk, NE, Harold Grube of Berlin, Germany, Beverly Cooper of Rome, GA, Leslie Smith of Rome, GA, and Gaylynn Faircloth of Lexington, KY. Grandchildren: David and Jeff Koch, Bentley Kelly, Josh and Jamie Smith, Dustin and Daniel Teuscher, Steven and Tiffany Faircloth, and Talea Brass.
