Rena Cartee

Rena Cartee, age 88, of Birmingham, passed away December 17, 2015. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Cartee, parents Benjamin and Mary Patranella, brother Luke Patronella (Doris), sisters Mary Abbate (Anthony), Bonnie Patranella , and niece Marylyn Abbate. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11am, Saturday, Dec 19 with services following. She is survived by her husband Arie Cartee, children Madeline McKown (Thomas), Joe Cartee (Valerie), 5 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Hospice Services of Alabama for their care of Mrs. Cartee. Memorials may be made to Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
