Rena Aderholt

Rena Carter Aderholt, age 88, passed away October 21, 2017. Rena was born June 13, 1929 to Mildred Howe Carter and Joseph Dale Carter in Birmingham, AL. She was a longtime resident of Birmingham, Alabama, and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and then to Huntsville, Alabama. She is survived by a sister, Patricia Crocker, daughters, Dale (David) Spangenberg of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, and Laurie (Mark) Mitchell, of Atlanta, Georgia. She took great pride in her four grandchildren, Tom (Brandi) Devor of San Diego, California, Claudia, Beau and Evie Mitchell of Atlanta, Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews. She had many lifelong friends and also made many more close friends late in life. Special thanks for the loving care provided by Rene Haley, Brittany Dunham, of Hospice of North Alabama and many others, as well as her caregiver, Carolyn Robinson. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Oct 25, at 11am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be at the graveside from 1030am until service time.
