Reinette Howard

HOWARD, Reinette "Nette" Vanderford, age 87, of Clay, and most recently Kirkwood by the River, passed away on January 31, 2010. She was retired from Walker Drug Company and a member of Trussville Baptist Church. Reinette was preceded in death by her beloved husband James C. "Jimmy" Howard, and will be lovingly missed by her children Lynne and Rick Beasley of Charlotte, NC; Mary Jane and Jerry Maple of Trussville, AL; three grandchildren, Jenny McCrary of Montgomery, AL, Jill Maple (Terry) Denny and Jerry F. "Jay" (Heidi) Maple Jr.; two great grandchildren, Liv Estella Maple and Terry Michael "Trey" Denny III, and one brother Waymon E. "Biff" Vanderford. Visitation will be on Wednesday Feb 3, from 12pm until 2pm with a service in the Chapel at 2pm. Reverend Bobby Erwin officiating. Memorials may be made in memory of Reinette to the Skilled Nursing Unit of Kirkwood by the River for the compassionate, tender and loving care provided to our precious mother and extended to our family.
