Reid Adams

Mr. Reid S. Adams, age 86, of Trussville died Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Trussville. Reid was retired from the U.S. Postal service after 34 years of service. He was a member of Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Sue Stark Adams; two daughters, Lynne Adams and Amy Waldrop; three sons, Steve Adams, wife Cynthia, Don Adams wife Tammy and Eric Stark; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Stark; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; his sister, Josephne Moss and his dog, CoCo. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Shoemake and John Gallagher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Memorial East directing services . Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, Stuart Taylor, Jimmy Pettruzella, George Adams, Sr., George Adams, Jr. and Murray Glass.
