Rebecca Self

Rebecca C. Self, age 93, of Birmingham, passed away October 30, 2011. She was a member of 85th Street Baptist Church/ Deerfoot Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Kindergarten for 22 years. She was a member of the Sanford Auxiliary and the WMU. She led many people to the Lord with her devotions. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. H.O. and Archie Coshatt, husband Wilbur Self, daughter Charlotte Lovell, sister Lera Blocker, and brother Howard Coshatt. Services will be on Wednesday Nov 2, at 11am in the Chapel with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am until 11am Wednesday. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Stone, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and sister Esta Elliott. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
