Reba Whitlock Vaughn

Funeral Services for Mrs. Reba Whitlock Vaughn, age 70 of Pinson, will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral with Pastor Ricky Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining gardens.

Reba Lee Whitlock Vaughn went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at her home after bravely fighting ovarian cancer for over 5 years. She loved God with her whole heart and committed a lot of her time to learning as much as she could about Him. She retired from Bellsouth Telecommunications with over 25 years on the job.

She is preceded in death by her precious son, Zachary Lee Letson, her mother, Ruby Lee Hereford and her father, Jimmy Neal Whitlock.

Reba leaves behind her husband, Mike Vaughn, her daughter, Mikah Hembree (Jake), her grandson, Zachary Lee Hembree, her stepmother, Gloria Whitlock, her life long friend, Janet Smith, and many other close friends she held dear to her heart.

Reba was a very smart, sweet, optimistic and loving soul that will be unbearably missed.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
