Reba Duke

DUKE, REBA JANE HURST born in Jefferson County, Alabama on June 9, 1920, passed away on August 11, 2011 after a short illness. She was a long time member of Trussville United Methodist Church, having served as church secretary for many years. She was a graduate of Jefferson County High School. Mrs. Duke was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Milton Duke, of Trussville, Alabama. She is survived by her son, Ronald B. Duke and his wife, Rebecca Lee Duke of Camden, South Carolina; grandchildren, Natalie Duke Wys (Kurt) of New Berlin, Ill, Jennifer Rebecca Duke, USMC, San Diego, CA, and Jessica Duke Wright (Paul) of Marysville, Tenn; great-grandchildren, Adeline Wys & Henry Wys; brother, Andrew Jackson Hurst; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 3:00 - 4:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow in the Gardens.
