Raymond Lunsford

Raymond E. Lunsford, age 84, of Springville AL, passed away August 1, 2014. Mr. Lunsford was a veteran serving on the USS Midway, and was a Ham Radio operator. Ray was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Johnson Lunsford, sister Peggy Patterson Beatty, son Russell Timothy Lunsford, and grandson Ian Matthew Lunsford. Chapel services will be held on Tuesday, Aug 5, at Noon with burial in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 2:45pm. Visitation will be from 11am until noon Tuesday. He is survived by his sisters Patsy Lunsford Doremus, Ruth Lunsford, brother Robert Leo Lunsford, sons Michael R. Lunsford (Dawn), Mark E. Lunsford (Sheila), grandchildren Melissa Lunsford Newby (Brian), Lara Lunsford Falkner (Beau), Jeremy P. Lunsford (Sarah Gilbert), Bradley J.
