Randall "Randy" Dane Sandford, age 40 of Trussville AL passed away May 19, 2009. Randy was employed by the UAB School of Nursing. He attended The Healing Place, and was also a longtime member of Cathedral of the Cross, formerly Huffman Assembly of God. He was a 1986 graduate of Cathedral Christian School, attended Auburn University and graduated from UAB in 1991 with a BS in Psychology. He was the originator of the Alabama Architectural Forum. Randy's hobbies included photography, singing Christian music, and Auburn football. Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Cynthia "Cindy" Jane Sandford; two sons, Phillip Austin Sandford and Andrew Clayton Sandford; mother and step father, Jane and Elbert Poole; father, James Sandford; grandmother, Jewel Harwell; aunt and uncle, Montez and Sinclair O'Neal of Dallas, TX; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Angie Franks; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Franks of Trussville AL; half-sister, Tammy Sandford of Birmingham AL; step-sister, Rona Scott (Wade) of San Antonio, TX and numerous other friends and family Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5:00 i�½" 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Saturday, May 23 at 2:00 PM with Pastors Mark Correll and Randy Smith officiating. Burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Noell, Fred Jones, Danny Rivers, Barry Mann, Lane Lord, Scott Stalnaker and Steve Gross. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
