Randall Patterson

On October 9th, 2020 Randall Leroy Patterson, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 84 in Birmingham, Alabama. Randall is pre-deceased in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Mildred Patterson and daughter Chandra Lee Harris. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carolyn, son Guy Patterson (Tammy) and bonus daughter Renee Loyed (Troy). He is also grandfather to Kaitlyn Loyed, Amanda Madden (Jon), Zaccary Patterson and two great grand children. After serving in the United States Marine Corps until 1957, he continued on to graduate from Georgia State College with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a major in Marketing. Randall sold his company, Decor Inc. Fairfield, Alabama in 1985. Randall and Carolyn enjoyed retired life traveling. The family extends thanks and appreciation to the caregivers and hospice team for their loving care and support. Randall will be greatly missed by those who knew him and grieved by all who loved him. Services will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL, Wednesday, October 14. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 1 PM with a Graveside Service to follow at 1 in the adjoining cemetery.
