Ralph York

Ralph Emerson York left his life on earth to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, March 2, 2013. He faithfully served our country in the US Navy on the USS Willis DE, 395, in WWII After the war; he met the love of his life, Jo. They married in August, 1957. He retired from Unique Industries after a long career in the nuts, bolt and screw industry. Under his watchful eye, he leaves behind, his loving wife, Mildred Elizabeth Scott York, (Jo); two children, Joanna D. York and Charles "Al" York (Sharon); 3 grandchildren, Dylan, Anthony and Ryan, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. A. A. York; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be Monday, March 4 from 11am to 12 noon with graveside service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Riverchase Baptist Church.
