Ralph Tribble, III was born to Faye Olive and Ralph Tribble, Jr., on August 19, 1947, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was red-headed and freckle-faced and because there were two living Ralph Tribbles at the time, they decided to call him Mike. Mike enlisted in the Air Force in January of 1967. After serving in Vietnam with the 2nd Detachment 1st Special Operations Wing as an Electronic Warfare Repairman, he was honorably discharged in 1973. For his service, Mike received numerous awards. Mike worked at Rust Engineering and later opened his own business, Control Technologies, Inc. He enjoyed problem solving for his clients, his friends, and his family. In 1992, Mike met Anna Stewart, whom he married in January of 1993. With this marriage, Mike added three more children to his family. In the mid-2000s, Mike began to work for Home Depot, where he found another outlet for helping people problem-solve. He retired in 2014, to enjoy traveling and family, ?nding adventure on his motorcycle with the Heart of Dixie Spyder Riders, and reconnecting with his brothers-in-arms in Stray Goose International.
