Phyllis Digiovanna

Phyllis DiGiovanna, age 72 of Birmingham, AL passed away February 6, 2021. She was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church in Trussville. She graduated from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana. She met her husband and love of her life, Matt DiGiovanna, while working at the Pentagon. After the death of her beloved husband, she took over the family business and become the owner of Print USA. The greatest joy of her life was her six grandchildren. She never missed a game or an opportunity to spend time with them. She was survived by her brother, Roger Peele (Linda), and two sisters, Brenda Williams (Steve) and Cheryl Kilgore; her loving children, Amy Barker Best (Scott) and Matthew DiGiovanna (Brandy); grandchildren, Andrew, Braxton, Harrison and Sarah Ashlee Barker, Landon and Lily DiGiovanna; a host of extended family. Due to the Pandemic the family has decided to postpone the services for Phyllis at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please send donations to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
