Phillip A. Gambrell, March 29, 1985-April 17, 2021 (Age 36), passed away unexpectedly on April 17 leaving behind, a multitude of, family and friends that will miss his contagious smile, his generous hugs, and his ability to make people laugh, even when they felt there was nothing to laugh about. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Priscilla Gambrell; brothers, Robert Gambrell (Erica) and Jeff DeShazo (Heidi); grandmother, Doris Drummond, uncle, Tim Drummond (Lisa), nieces Lauren Gambrell, and Courtney Cardell (Jake), nephew Michael Struble (Ginger), his godchildren Aiden and Elena Dennis, and his fur babies Roman and Rosita. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Leon and Thelma Gambrell; grandfather, Cleveland Drummond, sister, Rebekah Gambrell, Aunt Vicki Drummond, Uncles George and Scott Drummond and nephew Corporal Sascha Struble. Phillip loved traveling and being outdoors. His career in automation allowed him to experience these things over the years, and though his life on earth was cut short, the photos, will remind us how he was able to live his dreams. The family will receive friends at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday May 15th, 2021 with a Celebration of Life will beginning at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel.
