Phillip Odom, 58, passed away on January 27, in Birmingham, AL. Phillip is survived by his mother and father - Peggy and Raymond Odom of Sylvan Springs, AL; sister - Mary Jane Allamel (Ken) of Florence, AL; brother - Greg Odom (Jenny) of Sylvan Springs, AL; niece - Holly Martin (Andrew) of Maumelle, AR; niece - Reagan Odom; nephew - Jabe Odom; great niece - Ruth Martin; truest of friends - Jack Gerson; and a host of extended family. A private burial will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, Trussville, AL on Friday, February 19 at 2pm. Phillip is a graduate of Fairfield High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Tulane University, spending his junior year abroad at Nottingham University in England. Phillip has worked/lived in Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; New Orleans, LA; New York, NY; London, England; Washington Depot, CT; and Los Angelas, CA. The majority of Phillip's career was as a Senior Account/Creative Project Director in the advertising industry. Phillip loved to travel and had the opportunity to see much of the world. He had an amazing talent for design and loved music, movies, and the entertainment industry. However, his greatest love was for his friends and his Italian Greyhounds; Slim, Mister, and Dandy.
