Perry Shaw

Chief Perry W. Shaw, age 77, of Chelsea, formerly of Tarrant, AL passed away on September 19, 2012. He was retired from the Air National Guard after 38 years of service. He was a member of North Shelby Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Pearl Shaw; brothers, James and Maynard Shaw; and sister, Christine Kelley. Perry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Shaw; son, Alan Shaw of Calera; daughter, Julia Samples of Highland Lakes; sisters, Delois Smith of Fayette, Al and Sybil Gilmore of Franklinton, LA; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm with visitation from 12-2 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
