Peggy Mcginnis

Peggy Dobbs McGinnis, age 71, of St. Clair County, AL passed away on March 2, 2016. Peggy had a huge love for animals, worked as a Dental Hygienist and was a member of the Solid Rock Lutheran Church. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Buster Dobbs and her son, Johnny Gilbreath. She is survived by her significant other, George McGinnis; mother, Elizabeth Dobbs; daughters, Donna Gilbreath and Kelley Judson (Mark); grandsons, Bobby Whitehead (Christel) and John Whitehead; an aunt , Nell Malone; her brother, David Dobbs (Sharon) and one niece, Dori Weldon (Tyler). Her funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with visitation held one hour prior. The burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorials adjoining cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please send donations to your local humane society.
