Peggy Brown

Peggy Ruth Bailey- Brown of Tarrant born March 6, 1941, age 67. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and attended Tarrant Schools graduating in 1959. Went to her heavenly home to join her father, Earl Bailey and brother Douglas "Doug" Bailey on October 30, 2008. Survived by her husband Jerry Brown of 24 years. Sons Royce Sparkman of Tennessee, Barry (Debbie) Sparkman of Clay, and David (Mindy) Sparkman of Pinson. Mother Teenie Bailey of Tarrant, brother Roger Bailey of Enterprise, step-daughters Janet Riggs of Pinson and Terri Brown of Colorado. 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, aunts Irene Reid of Tarrant and Jene Downey of Gardendale, a nephew Greg (Stormy) Bailey of Hueytown. Chapel funeral services will be held on Monday, November 3 at 12:00 noon with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Rev. Marcell Burchfield officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 5-7. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the principle care givers and New Beacon Hospice for their love and care.
