Paul Goins

Paul Trenton Goins of Birmingham died July 11, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Goins was born October 8, 1923 in Birmingham, AL. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Ledbetter Goins and son, Richard Stephen Goins. He is survived by daughters, Teresa Goins Hill of Birmingham and Rebecca Goins Lilley of Houston, TX, grandsons Eric Hill and Trenton Lilley and great grandson Cameron Hill.

He graduated from Samford University with a major in Business Administration. He served his country in the United States Navy as a meteorologist and later taught weather forecasting. He was a successful small business owner after retirement from the navy. A civil war buff he loved to travel and explore the United States of America. He truly loved his country. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with the Rev. Tim Higgins officiating.
