Paul Carr

Paul Dean Carr, age 69 of Trussville, AL passed away on May 23, 2015. He was born in Leeds, AL on May 22, 1946. He was a proud charter member of CrossPoint Baptist Church. He retired from Universal Limited with 34 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Army. He graduated from Jacksonville State University. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Eleanor (Dillard) Carr and his brother, Jerry Carr. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kay Pair Carr; his precious daughter, Lauren Carr Wright (Matt), brothers, Tommy Carr and Robert Carr (Wanda); grandson, Jonah Wright; sister-in-law, Sue Carr; several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Steve Parr will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CrossPoint Baptist Church building fund, John Croyle Big Oak Ranch or the local Humane Society.
