Paul Burt

Paul Hyde Burt, age 74, attained his ultimate goal on September 23, 2021. He was a Godly man who loved his family, church family, and friends. He was a mentor to many.

Paul retired from Jefferson County Roads and Transportation in 2006, and was then a bus driver for 10 years for the Jefferson County Board of Education.

Late in his life he graduated from college as a Licensed Massage Therapist and spent many years helping people. His greatest joy was family who he was so proud of. He loved to ride his motorcycle and live life to the fullest.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Evelyn Burt and brother, Lloyd Lewis Burt. He is survived by his bride, Diane, daughters, Sherry Burt, Sandra Hanson (Chuck), and Melanie Cox (Tommy); his brother, Keith Burt (Pam); grandchildren, Whitney (John), Kolby (Heather), Karrley (Alex), six great grandchildren, and a multitude of extended family, and adopted family, and friends.
