Paul W. Blackwell

Visitation for Mr. Paul W. Blackwell, age 75 of Cropwell, will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. CST until 7:00 P.M. CST at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services to follow at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. EST with Dylan Baxter officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM. EST until service time at 2:00 P.M. EST. Burial to be held at North Pacolet Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Born and raised in North Carolina, Pawpaw was a kind and caring soul. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren with his whole heart. He was a man of few words but had his way of showing you that he loved you. Especially his daughter and son. He built a business from the ground up and was very successful. When he retired, he went for his dream of having a farm. He loved watching his animals and they loved him. He would always smile BIG when all the grands were on the farm running around feeding and playing with the animals. He also had a hobby of restoring old cars and car shows. We will miss the golf cart and Gator rides around the farm with him. We will miss you BIG Pawpaw. When we see the brightest star, we know you are watching over us. 

He is survived by his wife, Anna Blackwell, two children, Aaron Blackwell (Tracy) and Rebekah Blackwell, his siblings, Kelly Blackwell (J.R.), Franklin Blackwell, Jackie Blackwell, Sheila and Elaine, three grandchildren, Ashley Harrison, Bradley Blackwell (Morgan) and Kimberly Parsons (Taylor), five great-grandchildren (his heart), Jayce Harrison, Kynzlee Harrison, Emilia Blackwell, Emersyn Parsons and Elaine Blackwell. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doshia Blackwell and his sister, Debra Blackwell.

A son, a brother, a father, a grandfather and a great-grandfather, loved by all who met him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overton Church, 5460 Overton Rd Birmingham, AL 35210 in Mr. Blackwell's memory.
